2012 International Academic Symposium on Old-Age Security Call for Papers

    The 2012 InternationalAcademic Symposium on Old-Age Security will be sponsoredby the Center for Social Security Studies (CSSS) of WuhanUniversity,which is the Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciencesin Universities. It will be held on October 20th to 22nd,2012 in Wuhan, China. We warmly welcome you to submit papers and attend theSymposium.


1.    Themes and Topics


Ø Financial, debt crisis and old-agesecurity

Ø International comparison ofold-age security

Ø The coordination level ofpension insurance and integration of urban and rural pension insurance system

Ø Old-age security andpension industry

Ø Investment and solvencymanagement of pension insurance fund

Ø Innovation and managementof pension insurance system

Ø Reform and developmenttendency of global pension insurance system


2.     Paper Submission

     Submissions of substantial, original and previouslyunpublished work are invited in all areas related to the themes of the Symposium.The language is Chinese or English. Submissions must not exceed 8 pages forregular papers or 4 pages for short papers. Each paper should be accompanied bya title page, including the title of the paper, author’s information (includingnames, affiliations, phone number, postal addresses and E-mail addresses), anabstract of less than 500 words and 3-5 keywords. The references format shouldbe: David J.W.Hatton, Fang Li,Kevin K.H.Ng.“Pension Reform around the World-Lessons for China”, EconomicScience Press, 2000.

    All submissions shouldbe in an MS word or Latex format (A4, single space, Songti, 10 points if inChinese, or Times New Roman, 12 points if in English).

    Paper submissions willonly be accepted via email to whucsss@163.com.

    The deadline forsubmission is September 1st, 2012. Papers received after this datewill be rejected without review. Notification of receipt of papers will be sentto the corresponding author soon after receipt.


3.     Review and Publication

     All papers will bereviewed by the experts of the Advisory Committee and Program Committee forsignificance, originality, accuracy and clarity. Papers accepted will appear inthe Symposium proceedings, and best papers will be selected to publish in the“Social Security Studies” academic journal.
