On December 18, the pre-conclusion review meeting of "Hubei Health Industry Development Strategy Research" by Hubei Research Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy was successfully held in the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University. The guests present at this meeting are Prof. Deng Zixin, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academician of Academy of Sciences of Developing Countries, foreign academician of Russian Academy of Engineering, Academician of American Academy of Microbiology; Prof. Deng Dasong, Director of Academic Committee of Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University; Prof. Zhao Man, Director of National Characteristic Base of Intelligent Social Governance Experiment (Elderly Care) of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law; Professor Yin Jun, Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University, Shao Deai, Director of Social Affairs Department of Hubei Provincial People's Government Research Office, Kong Xilan, Director of Aging Health Department of Hubei Provincial Health Commission, Li Dongdong, third-level researcher of Elderly Care Service Department of Hubei Civil Affairs Department, Wang Xuejun, Chairman of Hubei Cultural Tourism Group, Li Wei, Director of Strategic Investment Department of Hubei Cultural Tourism Group and Chairman of Hubei Kangyang Group, Zhu Can, Deputy Director of Human Resources of Mayinglong Pharmaceutical; Ren Xiaozhou, Deputy Director of Research Institute of Science and Technology Development of Wuhan University; Peng Qizhi, Secretary of Party Committee of Logistics Service Group of Wuhan University; Professor Liu Wei, Dean of School of Politics and Public Administration of Wuhan University; Professor Xiang Yunhua, Director of Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University; Associate Professor Xue Huiyuan, Deputy Director of Social Security Research Center, Wuhan University. The graduate students involved in the project also attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Hui Yuan Xue.

After the host introduced the guests, Director Ren Xiaozhou first delivered a speech on behalf of the Institute of Science and Technology Development of Wuhan University. He affirmed and congratulated the achievements of the research team, and stressed that the health care industry is closely related to the cultural industry, tourism industry and rural revitalization. He thanked the experts and professors for their efforts, and wished the review a success. On behalf of the School of Politics and Public Administration, President Liu Wei welcomed the leaders and experts. He said that the topic of the health industry echoes the national strategy and conforms to the development of the country, which is a very forward-looking research topic.  "Hubei health industry development strategy research" is of vital significance for the implementation of the "Healthy China 2030" planning outline.

Then, Professor Xiang Yunhua, on behalf of the research group, reported the research report of the topic from the development background, types, characteristics, historical evolution of the health care industry, as well as the development status of the health care industry in Hubei province, development environment analysis, development ideas and objectives, relevant experience, existing problems, safeguard measures and suggestions.

The project evaluation session was chaired by Professor Deng Dasong. The participating experts reviewed the research report, fully affirmed the research results of the "Hubei health industry development strategy research", and pointed out that the research report is comprehensive, clear, and the main conclusions are basically credible. The project review group believes that the research report comprehensively analyzes the development basis and current situation of Hubei health care industry, clarifies the ideas and objectives of the development of Hubei health care industry, focuses on the development direction and key areas, and puts forward key tasks and countermeasures for the development of Hubei health care industry. At the same time, the review experts put forward specific suggestions for further modification and improvement of the project.

Only by taking the road can we reach far and push forward. At the end of the meeting, President Liu Wei summarized the contents of the meeting and thanked the experts for their wonderful speeches. The successful holding of the "Hubei Health Industry Development Strategy Research" project review meeting not only examined the overall situation of the project, but also pointed out the direction for the follow-up work of the project, clarified the ideas, and laid a solid foundation for the next stage of research of Social security Research Center.
