He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wuhan University in 1984.

In July 1991, he graduated from Wuhan University with a master's degree in economics

In 1994, he joined the School of Economics of Wuhan University

Since 2000, he has been teaching at the School of Public Administration of Wuhan University, a full-time researcher at the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University (National Key Base of Humanities), and a member of the national "985 Project" science and technology innovation platform and philosophy and social science innovation base

He received his PhD in Management from Wuhan University in 2003

Resesarch direction：Research on social insurance and financial investment, research on solvency of social security system, teaching and research on investment management of annuity insurance fund and public management, research on quality of life evaluation system of well-off society, and research on social security problems of land-expropriated peasants
