【Abstract】The sustainable development of mutual assistance for the elderly in rural areas faces two major dilemmas: the difficulty in forming mutual aid cooperation and the transformation of the form of elderly services from entertainment to care. Taking the construction of digital villages as an opportunity, with the help of digital technology's data integration and processing, information analysis and matching, remote digital video and other functions, it is embedded in the cooperative production of rural mutual assistance for the elderly, and digital technology is used to empower the transformation of the mutual assistance pension model. Through the construction of an authoritative digital platform, the establishment of quantifiable mutual aid points, and the use of digital video technology to promote the implementation of mutual aid care, the production process of mutual aid cooperation will be reshaped, the efficiency of supply and demand allocation of mutual aid services will be improved, the precision and sustainable development of mutual aid for the elderly will be realized, and a collaborative and co-governance pattern of multiple mutual aid subjects will be formed, so as to inject new vitality into the cooperative production of rural mutual aid for the elderly.
