【Abstract】China is a country with many disasters, and all kinds of major natural disasters and man-made disasters have brought heavy losses to people's lives and property with great destructive power. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, China's disaster prevention and mitigation has gone through a process of responding from weak to strong, from passive to active, and from blind to scientific. Under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee, China's disaster prevention and mitigation undertakings have relied on the strength of the people and achieved a series of tremendous achievements through the gradual improvement of the disaster relief system and the adoption of scientific disaster management methods: from refusing to accept international aid to accepting it conditionally, and then to participating in international aid, China has become a responsible major country; Disaster prevention and mitigation work is becoming standardized; The combination of disaster relief and poverty alleviation has significantly improved the quality of life of disaster victims. Using the big data platform, the emergency management strategy and high-tech are widely used in disaster relief, disaster prevention and mitigation. In the future, it is necessary to further strengthen the construction of the disaster prevention and mitigation system and promote the cause of disaster prevention and mitigation to a new level.
