【Abstract】The United States, the United Kingdom and Russia are the military powers in the world, and the preferential treatment and pension system for retired servicemen was developed earlier, which has certain reference value for China. The empirical analysis from the three aspects of pension and compensation, medical education and housing security, rights relief and honor incentive finds that the United States, the United Kingdom and Russia have established a pension and compensation system for veterans with refined monetary welfare design and differentiated compensation characteristics on the basis of laws and regulations, and provide a wide range of medical, educational and housing security for veterans. Establish commemorative days and implement preferential treatment to recognize and commemorate veterans; However, due to the different national conditions and political systems of the three countries, the characteristics and emphasis of the system design are also different. In view of this, it is necessary to further improve the pension and compensation system for retired servicemen according to China's national conditions, strengthen the refined design of monetary benefits, improve the multi-level medical care system, optimize the education funding and housing security system, establish an effective rights relief mechanism, and increase the honor reward and social publicity for retired servicemen.
