On November 25, 2023, the first Three Gorges Seminar on Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Disabled People was held in Yichang, Hubei Province.

The conference was hosted by Employment Service Guidance Center of China Disabled Persons' Federation, Disabled Persons' Cause Development Research Association, Hubei Disabled Persons' Federation and Disabled Persons' Working Committee of Yichang Municipal People's Government. Organized by Yichang Disabled Persons' Federation, Yichang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Hubei Research Society for the Development of Disabled Persons, Human Rights Institute of Wuhan University, Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University, and China Disabled Persons' Development Research Center of Wuhan University of Technology.
