On the morning of December 4, 2023, Associate Professor Feng Xiaojun, Deputy Dean of the School of Public Administration of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, Lecturer Zhao Jie and Lecturer Lang Jieyan, teachers of Labor and social security, visited the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University to exchange and discuss the construction of social security disciplines. Professor Xiang Yunhua, Director of the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University, Associate Professor Liu Weibing, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Department of Public Economics and Social Security, Associate Professor Xue Huiyuan, deputy director of the Center and Associate Professor Zhang Ping, director of the Department of Public Economic Management, participated in the exchange forum.

At the symposium, Vice President Feng Xiaojun first introduced the development history of the social security discipline of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, as well as the enrollment and training of postgraduate students; Lecturer Lang Jieyan introduced the construction of Labor and Social Security undergraduate major in Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. Then, Professor Xiang Yunhua introduced the development of Social security discipline and Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University, Associate Professor Zhang Ping introduced the training of master students of social security major of Wuhan University, Associate Professor Liu Weibing introduced the role of Party branch in discipline construction from the perspective of Party construction, and Associate Professor Xue Huiyuan introduced the construction of undergraduate major of labor and Social security. Finally, the two sides fully exchanged and discussed the problems encountered in the construction of social security discipline.
